الحمدلله
And so I'm back… and I'm speechless. Of all the things that I'd like to say and write and blog about… my favorite words are الحمدلله I left the other me there and I pray that he never returns. Al Donya ain't really what I thought it was about. La ilaha illa Allah يا سبحان الله The words that I want to say would tell about me sitting there and seeing two women from some African country talk in some weird language and as they reach the concrete fence on the roof of the Masjid Al Haram… their eyes get filled with something wet, holding that look like their hearts just melted; they smile, and say… La ilaha illa Allah. The Ka'aba, and the million people around it… and Allah seven skies above it on His throne. اللهم إني ظلمت نفسي فإن لم تغفرلي وترحمني لأكون من الخاسرين
I really am not special. We really, really are all dots.
We do things that Allah prohibited and sometimes we don't do the things he asked of us.
Those crowds… those millions… made me feel the least special of them all.
The thousand Turks performing Hajj and Oumra, the Australians, Malaysians, etc.
I was born a Muslim. Arabic is my native tongue.
What have I done to deserve all of this?!
الحمدلله رب العالمين
Your words brought tears to me... InshAllah Allah will keep your heart always purified as it is now... We were born muslim... We understand arabic, others strive to understand the Qur'aan... and to us all we've got to do is open the Qur'aan and read...
Please tell us more... this post has been like soul food to me!
I'm so glad there's is optimism on your blog, happiness, and peace... may it always be there, and connect to everyone else out there.
Hajj Mubarak akhy!

Menna wa menkom be ezn ellah. 3o2balek insha2alla.
I'll make sure to write everything about the trip as soon as I find time insha2alla. I had to go back to work today and I haven't had any time to rest yet.
Yeah well.. I think a lot of people never consider the fact that they speak Arabic or are born Muslims a blessing. I think it holds us more responsible than others cos fighting for it to stay against fetan el donya is much harder than fighting to get there.
الحمدلله على نعمة الاسلام...

Raven, There something wrong with any arabic words written on any of your blog sites! They appear to me as signs of ++++ , %%%%% and other incomprehensible signs.
I'm not sure if it's only me, or do arabic words do the same with all of your other readers?

The Arabic is in unicode (UTF-8) which is the most popular choice for arabic characters.
To be able to read it:
Firefox users: view/character encoding/unicode UTF-8
Internet Explorer users: View/encoding/unicode utf-8
PS. I had the same problem :)

OUTLANDISH LYRICS
"Beyond Words"
(feat. Burhan G)
With my right foot first
I stepped into the holy mosque
Upon the cold white marble
Where day and night people sat worshippin', praying
Right and left the mosque being cleaned
Shinin' not a particle of dust
The carvings of marble, the plates of gold
The symmetry of the whole mosque
Yeah the largest of it all
The came the grandest of the whole
The big beautiful house of Allah
Covered with black cloth and gold leaf writin'
My life flashed passed me, the good and the bad
Such a feeling my brother, never ever felt I had
A special bondage to the almighty
A sudden chill in me
Lookin' around the large floor was filled with unity
Circling the beautiful house
Chanting, people sitting, prayin' for forgiveness
Prayin' to do better I witnessed
Takin' a deep breath, tears was runnin'
I ran around the black house, the ancient black house
Built by Ibrahim, peace be upon him, circlin' 24 no doubt
I got closer, as did my heart, as did my soul, amazing
How everyone had their attention only on worshippin'
All concerns forgotten, focused on prayin'
Forgettin' everything matters and happenings just giving
I looked up in the sky thanking Allah for this journey
Sayin': I swear I didn't schedule to be here this early
I thought I'd come here like pops in my forties and fifties
And the doe I paid for the ticket, was meant for some hobby
But who am I to say if I will be alive tomorrow
Or 20 years from now, will my health be able to follow
For a moment I pictured my self 6 feet deep
In the cemetery, my corps in the same white sheets
Allah holds the master plan and it's already written
The pens are withdrawn, the pages are dry... it's written!
Looking back on my life
Life that's gladly been given to me
Open my eyes and embrace the smile
Given to you & I

Well, as you probably know, a lotta muslim scholars said that hearing musical instruments is HARAM..
And my fear is to be a part of leading to this, if it's haram.. 'cuz outlandish use instruments other than percussions in their songs..
As for me, I do whatever puts my heart at ease..
Now that I've said this, I'm free of this inshaAllah.. My intention was to share their words.. It's up to you now to choose listening or not listening to them..
Pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!
With respet,

Thanks and jazaki Allaho Khayran in sha'a Allah.
I, personally, used to be addicted to music and singing and such.. but then again sobhan Allah... things change.
I listen to a couple songs every once in a while, but I've found a new addiction al hamdulellah. Reading Quran is where I find joy.
و الله الهادي
Thank you Sara.
